What happens if the dressing dries out when I'm wearing it?Updated 8 months ago

PowerHeal® Bioelectric Bandage's microcell batteries need to be slightly moist to remain activated so if your bandage dries out you will not receive the healing benefits of PowerHeal® Bioelectric Bandage's microcurrent. However, there is nothing to be alarmed about: 

- If you are using PowerHeal® Bioelectric Bandage with Adhesive (orange or purple box), simply change your bandage and moisten the new bandage with a thin, even layer of Energel® Wound Hydrogel. 

- If you are using PowerHeal® Bioelectric Bandage with NO Adhesive (green box) and note that it is drying out between dressing changes, you may consider adding  a small amount of moisture (like clean water) periodically to the absorbent pad and then re-wrap or otherwise secure the bandage in place.
