How long before I will see a result?Updated 7 months ago

There are many factors that influence healing, such as size, depth, and location of your wound, the source of injury, and underlying health conditions that may impact healing, such as diabetes, etc., that make the time to healing difficult to predict.

It is important that you take time to monitor your wound and the surrounding skin frequently to look for signs of healing, such as a clean pink surface, a decrease in wound size, and progressively decreasing drainage.  If you experience signs of infection in the wound or surrounding area such as increasing redness, pain, swelling, drainage, irritation, warmth, or the wound is increasing in size, please contact your healthcare professional.

If you use PowerHeal® Bioelectric Bandage with Adhesive (orange or purple box), the clear adhesive allows you to monitor the wound's surrounding skin in between bandage changes.
